Short video of modifications I made to a Wenzel Starlite tent, my homemade backpack and a quilt. The Wenzel Starlite was way too small for me so I added about six inches in height. I have an awesome backpack, Gregory Palisade but it weighs almost eight pounds empty, that is a gallon of water! I made a much lighter pack but it has one issue that I need to resolve, it wants to roll down my back. I use a piece of sleeping pad as a internal frame which helps and I roll my sleeping pad inside the pack for structure and that helps but I would like some suggestions on improvements.
